Caregiver Support Group

50 minutes | Free

Tuesdays @ 2 PM & Thursdays @ 6:30 PM

Caregiving is on the rise. More and more of us are called to step up to assist a spouse or loved one for a short duration or over a long term. Whether the task is due to health changes, trauma, or the loss of memory, caregiving is hard. Nobody should face it alone, but we are often isolated from our community due to the demands of the care that needs to be given.

 

As caregivers, we need support to carry on the day to day demands of being present for our loved one. While we cope with our loved one’s trials of dementia or cancer, a lengthy hospitalization, planning for medical needs, or arranging for additional care at home, we can lose our grounding. Sometimes we doubt our decisions while navigating doctors, frequent hospital or skilled nursing visits, or when placing a loved one in an assisted living, memory care, or nursing home for their safety.

This support group is here for you. We’ll talk about strategies and give reassuring support you will need to provide compassionate, confident care to a loved one, and just as importantly to take care of yourself. This is a confidential and encouraging group. Caregiving is challenging but doesn’t have to define you. We will be inviting specialists to visit the challenges of legal, financial, at home and out-of-the home care, as participants share their needs. This service is free and we will add more times as the need grows.

Individual Programs

45 minutes 

3 months | 6 sessions

6 months | 12 sessions

Work with Kari for 3 or 6 months to improve your health. This program is individually tailored to your needs and you will benefit from 1-on-1 attention and support from Kari. 

​

Initial session: $95

This payment can be subtracted from the 3 or 6-month Program fee.

 

3-month Program: $80.00 per session, for 6 sessions. 

If paid for in advance, $400.00

​

6-month Program: $70.00 per session, for 12 sessions. 

If paid for in advance, $700.00.

Individual

Group Programs

45 minutes

3 months | 6 sessions

6 months | 12 sessions

 

Work with Kari in a group of up to four people for 3 or 6 months to improve your health. Group sessions are a great way to build a support system of individuals with unique experiences and approaches to healing.

 

1st session: $95

This payment can be subtracted from the 3 or 6-month Program fee.

 

3-month Program: $40.00 per session, for 6 sessions. 

If paid for in advance, $200.00

6-month Program: $30.00 per session, for 12 sessions. 

If paid for in advance, $300.00.
